The Academy for Excellence
in Engineering Education (AE3) strives to be a dynamic central resource
for faculty, students and departments in the College of Engineering
(COE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
We recognize that efficient and effective faculty are invaluable to
the success of the COE, and we offer programs to support faculty in
their roles as teachers and researchers.
We also recognize the direct relationship between excellent faculty
and well-prepared, engaged students, and we try to help faculty and
departments observe and respond to the changing needs of the student
population. AE3 offers programs for faculty at all stages of their careers,
as well as workshops for department heads and senior administrators.
