Did you know...

The COE ranks second among UIUC colleges in number of students who have registered with the Division of Rehabilitation Services--DRES (i.e. have disabilities).

Across campus, of students with reported disabilities, 32% have mobility/systemic disabilities, 61% have cognitive or psychological disabilities, and 7% have vision of hearing disabilities.

As an instructor, you may wonder:

  • What support services are available on campus for students with physical and/or sensory disabilities?

  • How can you design computer/Internet-based educational resources that are accessible to all students?

  • What academic supports are available on campus for students with cognitive and/or psychological disabilities?
